Owner, Licensed Nurse and Primary Caretaker
Maria Grozav
Maria Grozav is the owner of Country Living Senior Care and a Licensed Nurse with more than 30 years of experience caring for patients in hospital and clinical settings. She spent 24 years at Kaiser Permanente, including 17 years in emergency and trauma nursing, before retiring early from the hospital system.
Maria opened Country Living in June 2023 to bring her nursing knowledge into a more personal, home-like setting. She lives onsite and is actively involved in residents’ daily care—from preparing homemade meals and assisting with routines to observing changes and communicating closely with families and healthcare providers.
For Maria, Country Living is more than a business. It is a commitment to providing comfort, dignity, safety, and genuine compassion.
Trusted Family Support
Maria personally provides direct care to each resident. She is also supported by trusted family members who assist with meals, daily routines, companionship, and activities such as bingo, cards, daily walking and exercise. Their familiar presence helps create the warm, consistent environment residents enjoy, with additional caregiving support available as needed.
